Door Weatherstrip

Replace Hardened Seals with New Door Weatherstrip
Door Weatherstrip
Doors that no longer seal tightly, wind noise at speed, or damp carpet near the rocker panels often point to worn door weatherstrip. On classic Chevy Camaros, Chevelles, and El Caminos, original rubber seals shrink and harden after decades of heat exposure. As this happens, small gaps form around the door frame, allowing water and road noise into the cabin.
Replacing door weatherstrip restores proper sealing and helps doors close with the solid feel they originally had. Fresh rubber improves compression against the body and reduces moisture intrusion that can lead to floor and sill rust. Door weatherstrip is commonly replaced during interior refresh projects or alongside weatherstrip kits, since a properly sealed body protects everything inside.
