Replace Dim or Yellowed Lenses with New Headlights
Headlights
Dim output, yellowed lenses, and inconsistent beam patterns are common on classic Chevy Camaros, Chevelles, and El Caminos that still rely on aging headlight assemblies. Even when the bulbs are new, original housings and tired wiring can limit how much usable light actually reaches the road. Night driving quickly exposes weaknesses that aren’t obvious in the garage.
Replacing headlights improves visibility and restores proper beam focus, especially on cars that have seen decades of vibration and moisture accumulation. A clear lens and stable mounting surface help direct light where it belongs instead of scattering it. Many restorations address headlights while correcting voltage drop in other electrical components or tightening up front-end components near the grille area, since output and alignment both matter for safe driving.
