Sway Bars

Excessive body roll in corners and a car that feels unsettled during lane changes are common complaints on aging suspension systems. On classic Chevy Camaros, Chevelles, and El Caminos, factory sway bars were often modest in size and paired with soft bushings that have long since deteriorated. As suspension components wear, front-end lean and rear instability become more noticeable.

Upgrading or replacing sway bars improves chassis balance by reducing body roll and helping all four tires stay more evenly planted. Fresh mounting hardware and bushings also restore proper bar function and reduce unwanted movement. Sway bars are frequently installed alongside front control arms or refreshed suspension bushings and hardware, since stable handling depends on every pivot point working together.
