This engine (BP38350CT1) adds 47 rear-wheel horsepower and 55 rear-wheel ft-lbs. of torque at 4400rpm. It features a 49-state legal design and uses computer controlled ignition timing. It also avoids the need to recalibrate or retune your vehicle's ECU.

- This engine features a true 4" bore, which mathematically yields 377 CID with a 3.75" stroke.
- This 383 stroker is designed for use in 1996-2000 Chevrolet Pickup or SUV that was originally equipped with a 350ci (5.7L) engine.
- No ECU tuning or recalibration is required.
- Advertised horsepower gains were achieved on chassis dyno with factory EFI and ECU, in a Vortec-equipped, otherwise factory, GM truck.
