Dakota Digital Universal Gear Shift Indicator Sending Unit

This gear shift indicator sending unit is from Dakota Digital (GSS-3000). It provides accurate transmission gear position data to compatible Dakota Digital instrument systems. It is for use with VFD, VHX, HDX, RTX, and DGS series displays. It can also be used as a standalone unit. It allows the selected gear to be shown directly on your instrument display.

The updated compact design features a smaller decoder with inboard terminals. The unit sends precise gear position information. This includes Park, Reverse, Neutral. It also includes 2-4 forward gears through a user calibration process. It has built-in outputs. These support reverse lights up to 15 amps. It also supports a neutral safety switch circuit using the included relay.

It includes mounting hardware for common GM and Ford automatic transmissions. It also includes a universal bracket for additional applications. This sending unit is compatible with many transmissions. These include GM TH350, TH400, 700R4, 4L60, 4L70, and 4L80 transmissions, as well as Ford C-4 and C-6 units. It can also be used with other automatic transmissions. This requires the included universal mounting bracket.
