Detroit Speed FN988 31-Spline Ford 9” Third Member Assembly

Get a quieter, more efficient gearset than standard 9" components through Detroit Speed. The FN988 Ford 9" third member assembly offers just that plus continuously lubricated pinion bearings. The nodular cast iron case then ensures superb strength, with the added safety of a premium ring and pinion that use ARP ring bolts with safety wire. Plus, the case features mounting holes for bolt-on accessories.

Tech Tip: The FN988 case is compatible with all 8.8" gears, differentials, and spools.

Please Note: FN988-specific axles will be necessary, and the driveshaft will need to be shortened.
