Finished in natural aluminum, this timing cover includes all required gaskets, seals, bolts, and hardware for installation. Designed for pre-1987 Small Block Chevy applications, it also supports nylon cam button setups and helps strengthen the engine front cover area while providing quick service access for performance engine builds.

Additional Notes:
- Disconnect negative (-) battery terminal.
- Drain coolant by removing radiator petcock.
- Disconnect upper radiator and heater hoses from timing cover.
- Remove drive belt and harmonic damper with puller (radiator/fan removal may be required for clearance).
- Disconnect and remove mechanical fuel pump.
- Remove (4) oil pan bolts from timing cover.
- Remove eleven (11) bolts securing water pump to timing cover.
- Remove (4) bolts securing stock timing cover to block.
- Protect the oil pan opening while removing gasket material.
- Carefully clean gasket surfaces before installing new cover.
- Will not fit 1987+ SBC engines (1-piece rear main seal).
