KBS Coatings Satin Black Gallon RustSeal Stop Rust Paint

Long-term rust protection requires a coating that seals metal from moisture and oxygen. This RustSeal stop rust paint forms a non-porous barrier that prevents corrosion from returning on properly prepared metal surfaces.

The single-component formula cures with exposure to atmospheric moisture and creates a ceramic-like coating that resists chemicals, fuels, road salts, and abrasion. With a satin black finish rated at 70-75% gloss, the coating is suited for frames, suspensions, floor pans, fuel tanks, and other metal components where corrosion protection is required. One gallon provides coverage of approximately 200 square feet with two coats.

Additional Notes:
- RustSeal is not intended as a final finish on areas exposed to direct UV light. Long-term sunlight exposure may cause cosmetic dulling or discoloration. However, rust protection will not degrade.
- To preserve appearance, topcoat with any opaque color system. (Clear coats not offer UV protection.)
- Choose a matching RustSeal primer tone to help hide surface chips under the topcoat.
