Alternator positioning affects belt alignment and engine bay clearance on 1964-1972 Chevy Small Block applications. This alternator bracket kit Black Small Block Chevy 64-72 mounts a GM 10SI alternator in an ultra-inward driver side location for improved packaging with short water pump setups.

Designed for 5.625” standard rotation short water pumps, the bracket works with both serpentine and V-belt systems and compensates for V-belt water pump flange misalignment without removing the alternator or A/C components. A corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish helps protect against rust and wear. The kit includes a tensioning rod and mounting hardware.
