This MSD Pro-Billet Black distributor uses a maintenance-free magnetic pickup and precision reluctor to provide accurate trigger signals for performance street, strip, and race applications.

The distributor features a CNC-machined billet aluminum housing finished in black for a clean under-hood appearance. A hardened QPQ-coated steel shaft works with a sealed ball bearing and long sintered bushing to maintain stability during high-RPM operation. Mechanical advance tuning is adjustable using the included springs and stop bushings, and the advance assembly can be locked out for crank trigger systems. TIG-welded advance weight pins improve durability while the internal oil tract helps lubricate the distributor and cam gear during operation. This distributor must be paired with an MSD ignition control box.
