Painless Performance 185/170 Electric Fan Relay for 1964-1972 Chevy Chevelles and El Caminos and 1967-1973 Chevy Camaros.
If you're installing a set of electric fans on your vehicle, pick up this electric fan relay from Painless Performance (30103). It prevents voltage and amperage spikes and back-feeding through the wiring harness.

This relay turns on when the coolant hits 185°F and off when it hits 170°F. You can also install the treaded coolant sensor in the engine block or anywhere you can get the proper coolant reading.
