The wider sealing area of the clamp allows it to fit over the raised bead of fitting connectors easily. This power grip hose clamp will retain dynamic tension, meaning you will never have to retighten the clamp! The clamp shrinks and readjusts itself when the engine reaches normal operating temperatures so that the clamp will always be supplying consistent pressure. The clamping force of the power grip clamp even increases as temperatures decrease. No more cold leaks during the coldest of winter days.
