Powermaster PowerMax Straight Mount Starter for Automatic and Manual Transmissions with a 153-Tooth Flywheel or Flexplate.
This straight mount starter is made with a hi-temp solenoid, along with a larger armature and field coil. This tough combination offers stronger, quicker starts on your Chevy muscle car! It is recommended that this starter is used with engines with up to 10:1 compression ratios. The PowerMax works with a manual or automatic transmission with a 153 tooth flywheel/flexplate.
