Improve weight distribution and free up engine bay space. This UPR battery relocation kit relocates the battery to the rear of the vehicle (9005). The kit includes a lightweight aluminum battery box. It also has the wiring for installation. Moving the battery rearward places additional weight over the rear axle. This can improve balance, traction, and acceleration in both performance and street-driven applications. The aluminum battery box provides durable protection. The included breather tube, mounting hardware, and battery cables allow flexible placement. This can suit a variety of custom builds. When properly installed, this kit meets NHRA 8.1 requirements.
