Dakota Digital GPS Speed Compass Sender BIM Module

This GPS speed compass sender BIM module is from Dakota Digital (GPS-50-2). It uses advanced GPS technology, onboard accelerometers, and predictive software. These provide accurate vehicle speed data. It is designed for custom automotive applications. This module maintains consistent speed readings. It does so even in areas where GPS signals may be limited. This includes tunnels and overpasses. It also includes dense tree cover and urban environments.

It can connect to compatible Dakota Digital instrument systems. These include RTX, HDX, VHX, or VFD3. This module supplies speedometer data and compass heading. It also provides altimeter information and automatic clock synchronization with fully automatic calibration. No dip switches or manual setup are required. Speed data updates 10 times per second. Plus, the integrated omni-directional antenna allows flexible mounting.

This module also supports cruise control systems when high-resolution speed data is required. User-selectable signal outputs include 4000, 8000, or 16000 PPM with sine wave or square wave options. It is capable of supplying 54400 or 128000 PPM to support ECM inputs. An optional external antenna can be added for concealed installations. This module is compatible with many aftermarket electronic speedometers.
