Designed around a Vortec-style intake layout, this head features LT1-style raised intake runners and a revised combustion chamber design that positions the spark plug closer to the center of the cylinder for improved combustion efficiency and power delivery.

Compatible with factory-style self-aligning rocker arms, most valve covers, and stock exhaust manifolds, this head is an ideal upgrade for street performance and restoration builds.

Tech Tips:
- Equipped with springs for use in mechanical flat tappet and hydraulic roller camshaft applications.
- Match with Edelbrock head gasket sets.
- Recommended spark plugs: Champion RC12YC or equivalent (14mm x 3/4" reach, flat gasket).
- When using stock rockers, .100" longer pushrods are required (Edelbrock #9629 recommended).
- Use Edelbrock Head Bolt Kits for easier installation.
- Not for engines under 4" bore unless cam lift is below .450".
